Adora Magic City

Adora Cruises Limited (formerly CSSC Carnival Cruise Shipping) is a Chinese-American cruise line that was scheduled to begin operation in 2020, but was delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic.The first Chinese-built vessel, to be constructed off of the Vista-class design, was delivered in 2023.

The Adora Magic City sailed on its first commercial voyage on January 1, 2024. In addition to being celebrated as an achievement for Chinese shipbuilding, the company is the first large domestic cruise line that seeks to expand regionally leading the development of the Chinese industry with additional cruise ship construction.

Adora Cruises Limited, formerly known as CSSC Carnival Cruise Shipping/Carnival China, is the flagship enterprise of Chinese cruise industry with comprehensive operational capabilities in marketing, business operations, maritime operations, hotel and product management, and new ship construction management. The first large-scale domestically produced cruise ship under Adora Cruises, Adora Magic City, was officially delivered and named on 04 November 2023, and commenced its maiden commercial voyage from Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal on 01 January 2024. The construction of the second large-scale domestically produced cruise ship has also commenced at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co.,Ltd.
