Silver Muse redefines ultra-luxury ocean travel - enhancing the small-ship intimacy and spacious all-suite accommodations that are the hallmarks of the Silversea experience. The addition of Silver Muse expands Silversea's fleet to nine ships, and once again significantly raises the bar in the ultra-luxury cruise market with a wealth of enhancements to the onboard experience, while satisfying the uncompromising requirements for comfort, service, and quality of the world's most discerning travellers.
To ensure that your journey and cruise embarkation run smoothly, please remember to bring along all required travel documents. These include air and cruise tickets, passport, visa and, if required, medical card inoculation verification. Please be aware that security measures imposed by overseas governments may change from time to time. It is your responsibility to secure all relevant documentation for your cruise vacation. If any guest fails to obtain and to have such documents readily available, that guest may be denied boarding and accommodation, or the guest may be disembarked during the voyage.
Your cruise embarkation time is included in your final cruise documents. Please arrive at the ship at the specified time. Once you arrive at the terminal, you will be asked to show your Silversea luxury cruise documents and your passport. Please keep all necessary documents handy in your carry-on bag throughout the cruise embarkation process.
Currency used onboard is United States Dollar (USD).
All charges for services provided and products purchased on board the ship must be paid for by cash (US dollars), traveller’s cheque (US dollars) or credit card (VISA®, MasterCard® or American Express®) at the end of each voyage segment and before your final disembarkation from the ship. A 2% transaction fee will be charged for all cash advances. Foreign transaction fees will be imposed.
All guests will be granted free, unlimited standard Wi-Fi for 1 device at the time. Standard Wi-Fi is provided at regular satellite speed – ideal for emailing, web surfing, chat or similar. Not suitable for video, audio calls, or streaming. Premium access is suitable for all kinds of applications, including video and audio call and streaming. Premium WI-FI is available at an additional charge.
Please note: Telecommunications via satellite is a significantly different experience compared to high-speed connections on shore. The signal travels in a similar manner to radio waves but at much greater distances. That is why onboard Internet access is inconsistent and cannot be guaranteed at all times. Satellite communications are also affected by weather and the ship’s location.
Passenger may bring aboard the luxury cruise ship a reasonable amount of clothing and personal effects without charge. All luggage must be securely packed, and properly and clearly labelled. Liquid, fragile, perishable and other articles not suitably packed are transported at your own risk. Silversea shall not be responsible for the loss of, or damage to, such personal items.
Silversea recommends that passenger should hand-carry the travel documents (passport, visa, cruise tickets), medications and valuables. These items are the full responsibility of the guest at all times. Silversea shall not be responsible for the loss of, or damage to, such personal items.

Complete valet services, including laundry, pressing and dry cleaning, are available at an additional charge and may be arranged through your butler. Customary charges will apply. A self-service launderette offers washing machines, dryers, irons and laundry supplies, allowing you to limit the amount of cruise luggage needed, especially for longer voyages.
For your convenience, 110-volt (American current) and 220-volt (European current) outlets are provided in your suite, accommodating small appliances without the use of adapters or electric converters. A hair dryer is provided in each suite. Irons are available in the launderette should clothing folded in your cruise luggage need a quick pressing.
If you have special dietary requirements, Silversea will make every attempt to accommodate your requests. Please advise Silversea or contact us of your needs on the Guest Information Form at least 75 days prior to sailing.
Non-denominational services are held aboard ship on Sundays. Catholic, Protestant and/or Jewish clergy will be onboard during select holidays, when possible.
Most areas on board are non-smoking, and, as a safety precaution, smoking is not permitted in guests suites or guest suite verandas or balconies and in all public areas, lounges and bars. However, cigarette, cigar, electronic cigarette and pipe smoking is permitted only in specifically designated areas.
Silversea strongly recommends wheelchair guests travel with someone who is able to assist them both ashore and at sea as Silversea may be unable to offer special assistance. Please note that wheel-on and / or wheel-off access may not be available at some ports-of-call. Wheelchair guests must bring their own collapsible wheelchair.
Silversea was founded in 1994 by a joint venture made up of V-Ships (previously known as Vlasov Group) of Monaco and the Lefebvre family of Rome. The joint owners had previously been the co-owners of Sitmar Cruises. Silversea's business model was to operate ships in the small, all-suite, ultra-luxury category. The new line's all inclusive fares included such features as gratuities, beverages (including cheap/basic wines at lunch and dinner), port charges, travel insurance, and one or more complimentary shore events in every itinerary.
With the debut of luxury cruise ship Silver Explorer in 2008, Silversea introduced expedition cruising — Silversea style, adding yet another unique niche in the luxury cruise market. Now more intrepid travellers could experience adventurous voyages to the most remote regions of the planet while enjoying Silversea’s brand of signature distinctions, including ocean-view suites, a superb culinary experience, and an incomparable level of service with a crew to guest ratio of nearly one to one.
