Ship's name (Seven Seas Splendor) was chosen from suggestions by Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ loyal customers, travel agents and company employees. The name was chosen from over 2,600 suggestions (submitted in September 2017) from over 14,000 people.

The all-suite of Seven Seas Splendor elevates the standard for luxury cruising. Seven Seas Splendor will offer an inclusive cruise fare that covers round-trip air (with some caveats); transfers to and from the airport; unlimited shore excursions; non-alcoholic beverages plus wine, beer and spirits; in-cabin mini-bar; prepaid gratuities; Wi-Fi; and meals at all specialty restaurants.
