AmaBella

The AmaBella is a stunning river ship, unique in her own right. A classic design palette of black and white in the main lounge allows your conversations to provide the color. The intimate marbled bar is an inviting place to grab a cocktail and the sun-deck putting green, featured only on select AmaWaterways ships, lures both regular golfers and newcomers alike.

Most staterooms feature their signature twin balconies so that you can enjoy the views however you wish, as well as Entertainment-On-Demand and marble bathrooms with multi-jet showerheads. Suites feature added enhancements, including a larger sitting area and an expansive bathroom complete with a bathtub and separate shower. You’ll also find a massage and hair salon on board, as well as a fitness room, specialty coffee station and gift.

About the Cruise Line

AmaWaterways was founded in 2002 by three families, but their river cruise story began well before that. Co-Founder and President Rudi Schreiner was born in Vienna, at the heart of the Danube. In 1975, as part of a journalism assignment, he designed his first ship, a raft he took along the Amazon River. Soon thereafter he started working in travel, creating unique tour experiences in Europe.

When the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal was built in 1992, Rudi became a driving force in the river cruising industry. He later teamed up with co-founders Kristin Karst and Jimmy Murphy to start AmaWaterways. Born in Germany, Kristin brings extensive experience in travel, river cruising and customer service in her role as Executive Vice President. Rudi and Kristin partnered with Jimmy Murphy, a brilliant travel entrepreneur who built Brendan Vacations. His son, Gary, now carries on his father’s legacy in his role as Senior Vice President of Sales.
