Diamond Princess

As one of only two Princess Cruises cruise ships built in Japan, it’s not surprising this exotic gem can often be found sailing to the most intriguing vacation destinations abroad. Great-tasting cuisine can be found throughout the cruise ship, including at popular Italian restaurant, Sabatini’s®, where freshly prepared pasta creations reign supreme. In the elegant dining rooms, you’ll find sommeliers to help you enhance your meal with paired wines. Poolside, the hand-tossed pizza is always served to you just out of the oven. And, as an added bonus, both Movies Under the Stars® and The Sanctuary®, a tranquil haven exclusively for adults, have recently been added to Diamond Princess!

* Requests for preferences are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

2) Anytime Dining

Anytime Dining offers a flexible dining experience – just like a restaurant would – and gives you the freedom to dine with whomever you wish, at your convenience between 5:30pm to 10:00pm in elegant, upscale venues.

* Not available on voyages round-trip from Japan.
* Not available while operating in Australia.

3) Specialty Restaurants

Variety is the spice of life, especially when it comes to gourmet fare. That's why Princess offers several Specialty Dining options for you to choose from on every ship. These distinctive restaurants provide intimate dining in an upscale atmosphere. Reservations are suggested at these popular venues. And because these restaurants at sea are truly a special treat, a cover charge of USD 29 will apply per person. 50% discount applied to children aged 3-12 years old. No charge for children under 3 years of age.

  • Sabatini's - Serves up an authentic Italian dining experience in a remarkable eight-course meal. The stellar menu features both local seafood specialties and other regional favorites.

While many passengers are able to enjoy galley tours during the quiet off-hours, the Chef's Table experience takes interested diners behind the scenes during the height of dinner preparation where they'll also enjoy Champagne and hors d'oeuvres, followed by a special multi-course tasting dinner paired with selected wines in the dining room.

The Chef’s Table program is limited to approximately 10-12 passengers per table, at USD 95 per person and includes a complimentary copy of Princess' cookery book and photo taken at the private table with the chef.
